Student Organizations
Northshore Technical Community College provides opportunities for students to engage in activities outside of the classroom for further development of their educational purpose. Campuses in the region are actively involved in SkillsUSA and Student Government Association (SGA).
SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. SkillsUSA was formerly known as VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America). SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives working together to ensure America has a skilled work force and to help each student excel. Students participate in state and national competition, and state leadership.
Student Government Association provides vital co-curricular activities to enhance individual student development, promote social and recreational activities, promote participation in self-government, and promote the high standard of education at Northshore Technical Community College.
