The 2nd Annual IT Summit at Northshore Technical Community College, "Building Futures in IT," will be held from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM on February 9, 2023, at the Castine Center in Mandeville.
The IT Summit will:
- introduce students with an interest in Information Technology to educational and employment opportunities in IT
- encourage networking among Southeast Louisiana region's employers
- connect job seekers to opportunities to launch careers in IT
The IT Summit participants include NTCC students and alumni, as well as area high school students who are interested in pursuing a career in Information Technology. Participants can expect informative presentations about trends in IT, opportunities to develop their skills, and tips for finding a job they will love. The keynote speaker is Scott Walker, former WDSU News broadcaster.
New this year is a 3D printing competition among the region's high schools.
