Northshore Technical Community College’s Connect to Success Site provides a seamless and supportive transfer to Southeastern Louisiana University through the Connect to Success program. Connect to Success courses are affordable and available on Southeastern Louisiana University's North Campus. Students in the program receive access to comprehensive resources from both institutions, including Southeastern’s textbook rental program, library, print services, computer labs, health center, counseling center, shuttle service and tutoring services as well as Northshore’s academic advising, tutoring and student support services.

Become Eligible to Transfer to SLU:

To become eligible to transfer to Southeastern, students are required to complete appropriate developmental education courses, 18 credit hours of transferable college-level coursework (must include College Algebra and English Composition I) and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0. NTCC works closely with Southeastern to provide transfer services to students, helping them successfully navigate the process of moving toward a baccalaureate degree. We offer open admissions and up to 60 credit hours of transferable college-level coursework.

For a list of transferable courses and major specific transfer pathways, review our SLU University Transfer Pathways webpage.

Admissions Criteria:

To qualify for the Connect to Success Program, students must first apply to SLU and be referred to CTS.  Please check Southeastern’s webpage for application dates and deadlines.  Students must submit the referral letter in order to begin the admissions process at NTCC.

Steps to become admitted through Northshore Technical Community College can be found on the Future Students webpage.
