Bogalusa, La - The Sullivan Vocational Foundation has generously donated $100,000 to the Northshore College Enhancement Foundation to provide scholarship opportunities to students at NTCC's Sullivan Campus in Bogalusa. The new endowed scholarships will support students in NTCC's Construction Trades and Registered Nursing Programs.

"We are profoundly grateful to the Sullivan Vocational Foundation for their remarkable generosity and commitment to furthering education for the people of Washington Parish," said Northshore Technical Community College Chancellor, Dr. Jim Carlson. "This significant donation will allow the Northshore College Enhancement Foundation to continue providing exceptional scholarship opportunities and support to students seeking educational opportunities at NTCC’s Sullivan Campus.”

The Sullivan Vocational Foundation was established in 1999 through a gift from Washington Parish resident Lucy Robbins. The foundations' purpose is to promote and support vocational and technical education through scholarships and endowments. Over the years, the foundation has provided 5-12 scholarships annually to students enrolled in programs at NTCC's Sullivan Campus. In 2016, the foundation established an endowed scholarship in Health Sciences through the Northshore College Enhancement Foundation.
