DirectConnect to Southeastern Program
DirectConnect to Southeastern, located on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University, is a bridge program that aligns instruction, advising, and academic resources between Northshore Technical Community College and Southeastern. This program is designed to provide you with the academic courses and support services necessary to facilitate full admission to a baccalaureate degree program at Southeastern. Through this program, you will enroll in academic courses with NTCC working toward your associate degree and can graduate with your associate degree before or after you transfer to Southeastern.
To qualify for the DirectConnect to Southeastern, students apply to NTCC and select one of the following degrees: Associate of Arts, Associate of General Studies, or Associate of Science and select the NTCC location: Southeastern Site.
Notes:
- Students must enroll in both college-level English and Math until successfully completed.
- Students may complete Southeastern degree plan electives at the Southeastern Site as available.
- Students should consider requirements for completion of the degree program requirements as they work towards admissibility at Southeastern.
- The DirectConnect to Southeastern Program provides students the opportunity to complete an associate degree while at NTCC or after transferring to Southeastern. Students who successfully transfer to Southeastern can have their Southeastern credit reverse articulated to determine if degree requirements have been fulfilled for an NTCC associate degree.
A collaboration between Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC) and Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) offers you the perfect opportunity to earn your Associate's degree tailored to a Baccalaureate Degree with your interest and career goals in mind.
