Student Government Association
Welcome to Northshore’s Student Government Association. We are comprised of officers, senators and students, who become members as soon as they enroll at NTCC. Students are welcome to attend meetings and events hosted by SGA. We seek to increase awareness and involvement from the student body, provide a voice for our students and build school pride. More information about SGA can be found in the NTCC Student Handbook.
Northshore Technical Community College has established Student Government Associations, which operate under a Constitution that is prepared by and for each campus and is approved by the Chancellor. The Student Government Association (SGA) on each campus will be assigned an advisor(s) who will serve as a liaison between the SGA and the College administration. Each Dean of Campus Administration will designate the advisor with the approval of the Dean of Students.
Mission
The mission of the Student Government Association is to advocate for all students and provide vital co-curricular activities to enhance individual student development; promote social and recreational activities; promote participation in self-government; and promote the high standard of education at NTCC. The administration of NTCC recognizes the benefits to be derived by the student body and the institution from an active Student Government Association and encourages active participation by all students.
Election and Compensation of Officers
Each spring semester there will be an election of Student Government Association Officers. This election will be conducted by incumbent SGA officers and supervised and coordinated by the SGA advisor(s) and the Dean of Campus Administration in charge of the SGA on each campus.

Hi, I’m Brock, a gym enthusiast and last year’s Pearl River High School graduate. I manage Anytime Fitness and compete in bodybuilding, while studying at NTCC - Lacombe Campus. I love the campus's relaxed vibe and strong community. When I’m not in class, you’ll find me at the gym, where I set new goals and believe that even small improvements can make a big difference if you stay consistent.
I’m Alecia McGee, and I’m honored to be a part of this organization. I’m someone who values order and goes the extra mile to ensure things run smoothly. With my military background, I’ve developed a strong sense of discipline, which I believe makes me well-suited for the role of Parliamentarian. I’m committed to maintaining order within our congress and am always ready to step into any role if needed. I’m excited to contribute and help our team succeed.
