Financial Assistance and Payment Options

A grant is a type of financial assistance that helps cover the cost of attendance at a college or university and, unlike student loans, typically does not require the student to pay back the financial award in the future. A student loan is a form of financial assistance available to qualifying students that helps cover the cost of tuition & fees and requires the student to pay back the loan (with interest). Northshore Technical Community College offers an online payment plan through CashNet which helps to make paying tuition and fees more manageable. Plan options typically range from five payments to two payments. Eligibility for payment plans depends on date of enrollment and the earlier you enroll in a payment plan, the more payment options are typically available.
