LACOMBE, LA — Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC) is proud to announce that Dr. James Foley, Lead Instructor and Assistant Director of the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN-RN) Program, has been named a 2025 “40 Under 40” Rising Star by the Louisiana State Nurses Association (LSNA).This prestigious recognition celebrates Dr. Foley’s outstanding contributions to the field of nursing education and leadership. A proud graduate of the University of Holy Cross, Dr. Foley is widely respected for his visionary approach to nursing instruction, unwavering commitment to student success, and dedication to advancing clinical excellence across the profession.
“Dr. Foley exemplifies the passion and purpose that define the future of healthcare,” said Christi Marceaux, Dean of Health Sciences and Nursing at NTCC. “His leadership and mentorship are shaping the next generation of nurses across Louisiana.”
The LSNA’s 40 Under 40 award honors emerging nurse leaders across the state who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement and community impact. Dr. Foley will be recognized at a formal ceremony on the evening of May 13, 2025.
