HAMMOND, La. – Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC) Career Services hosted its 10th BiAnnual Healthcare Career Fair on February 11, 2026, at the Hammond Area Campus, connecting students, alumni, and community members with leading healthcare employers across the region.
The event featured 19 healthcare employers actively seeking to hire NTCC’s highly trained Health Sciences students from all campuses. Participating organizations included Christwood Retirement Community, CommCare Corporation, Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, Heritage Manor of Mandeville, Home Instead, Hood Memorial Hospital, Lallie Kemp Medical Center, Landmark Nursing Center of Hammond, LCMC Health, Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Mary Bird Perkins, North Oaks Health System, Ochsner Health, Options Inc., PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington, PMC, St. Tammany Health System, Villa Feliciana Medical Complex, and Willow Pharmacy.
A total of 131 job seekers attended the event, including students and alumni from NTCC’s Licensed Practical Nursing, Registered Nursing, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician programs, as well as healthcare professionals from the surrounding community.
“The Healthcare Career Fair has become a highly anticipated event among our healthcare partners,” said Tiffany Fowler, NTCC Director of Career Services. “Our partners consistently share that NTCC produces well-trained, workforce-ready graduates, and they value the opportunity to recruit directly from our talent pool.”
Several employers conducted on-the-spot interviews, highlighting the strong demand for skilled healthcare professionals and the quality of NTCC graduates.
