SGA Executive President Pamela Williams, recipient of the Gators Give Scholarship, with NTCC Chancellor Jim Carlson
Lacombe, LA — May 18, 2026 — Northshore Technical Community College announced its Spring 2026 scholarship recipients, recognizing students for academic achievement, technical training, and workforce preparation. Scholarships are funded through the generous support of donors and community partners.
"Our goal has always been to open doors of opportunity, and these scholarships ensure those doors stay open for everyone, regardless of their financial background,” said NTCC Chancellor Dr. Jim Carlson. “This support allows our students to focus less on how they will pay for college and more on who they will become. We are profoundly grateful to our partners and donors who make these life-changing opportunities possible."
Scholarship recipients were recognized at the annual Chancellor’s Scholarship Breakfasts, where they had the opportunity to meet the donors and sponsors who made their scholarships possible.
“Events like this are more than ceremonies,” said NTCC Student Government Association Executive President Pamela Williams, speaking to the recipients at the breakfast in Hammond on March 27, 2026. “They are reminders that generosity matters. That community matters. That when people invest in education, lives change.”
