FEE REFUNDS
If a student does not plan to attend the College, it is the student's responsibility to drop all courses before the fee payment deadline. The student will be financially responsible for any courses that remain on their schedule after fee payment deadline.
Reduction of tuition and other course related fees will be made on the following basis:
- Refunds, when due, are made within 45 days of 1) the resignation date or 2) the date the institution determines the student has resigned from the College.
- The following are considered refundable: Tuition, GRAD Act Adjustment, & Non-Resident Fee. All other fees are considered non-refundable.
- If the College cancels a class, then 100% of all College-assessed tuition and fees paid will be refunded for the canceled class, with the following exceptions:
- All BankMobile, CashNet, and/or Xendirect assessed fees including but not limited to the credit card convenience fee, the payment plan enrollment fee, applicable finance charges, etc. are considered non-refundable.*
- The College parking permit fee is also considered non-refundable.*
- Refund of refundable tuition and fees for semesters fourteen or more weeks in length is made on the following basis upon reduction in credit hours or official resignation from the College:

Students receiving federal aid will also receive a reduction in fees according to the College Refund Policy as stated above. Any unearned aid determined at the time of resignation/withdrawal will be returned to the provider and will be the responsibility of the student to reimburse NTCC. This includes students who officially resign and those who cease attending without officially resigning(Unofficial Withdrawal)
To receive a 100% refund of refundable fees previously paid, the student must drop all of their classes according to the resignation refund schedules listed above.
If a student is resigned by the College for any reason, he will be refunded according to the above schedules. The effective date of the resignation will determine which category of reduction of refundable fees that will apply.
Issuance of Refunds
Northshore Technical Community College has partnered with BankMobile Disbursements, to distribute student refunds for all NTCC students.
Be sure that your mailing address is current with the College, since it is used for all correspondence from the Finance Office. If there is a reason that your refund cannot be sent to BankMobile Disbursements, an email will be sent to your official College student email address.
Student refunds are sent according to the refund preference selected at BankMobile Disbursements. A student will make his or her refund preference selection with BankMobile by logging into the student’s LoLA account and clicking the “Select Refund Choice” link in the Academic Links section.
