College Closure

Dear College Family,

As we are all aware, our region will experience unprecedented hurricane impacts today and tomorrow. It is my sincere hope that you and your families have identified a safe location to ride out the storm. As a result of hurricane impacts, our region is expected to experience power outages, downed trees, road closures and possible impacts to infrastructure.

In an effort to assess infrastructure post storm and allow families to do the same with homes and property, Northshore Technical Community College will remain closed through Wednesday. Essential staff will be contacted by supervisors Tuesday and Wednesday for support in assessing damages if and when safe to do so.

Further information regarding reopening status beyond Wednesday will be communicated at a later time. Until then, we wish our college family safety and wellness during this difficult time. I look forward to reconnecting with our Gator family after the storm and working together to lift one another in our
recovery.
