College Convocation and Faculty Professional Development Day

Each year, NTCC holds the College Convocation in August and Faculty Professional Development Day in January.  College Convocation is a gathering of facutly and staff at the Columbia Theater in Hammmond to recognize service awards, honor special recognitions, receive important updates and trainings about the College, and hear the Chancellor's State of the College Address.  Each January, the College Faculty Professional Development Day is a day set aside for faculty to focus on improving teaching and learning and attend sessions from their peer faculty members.

IGC Professional Development Grants

The continuing professional and scholarly development of faculty & staff is of vital importance to NTCC.  Grants are awarded to one full-time faculty member (up to $500) and one full-time staff member (up to $500) each academic year.  Applications open each spring semester and recipients are recognized at College Convocation.
