Spring 2022 Term - Academic Calendars
Academic calendars for the Spring term are available below. Two main semesters exist within the Spring term, the Full Semester and the Second Start Semester. The Technical Block Schedule is provided for courses with varying course dates but are considered part of the Full Semester.

Full Semester
October 25 - 26:
- Priority registration period for veterans and active duty military.
October 27 - January 18:
- Open registration period.
January 9:
- Faculty report to campuses.
January 17:
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday; NTCC campuses closed.
January 19:
- First day of Full Semester classes.
January 19 - January 24:
- Add/Drop Course Period
- Considered as late registration first time registrants during this period.
February 7:
- Last day to drop a course without a "W" grade.
February 8 - April 1:
- Withdrawal Period: Course drops during this period are considered a "withdrawal" and are documented on the student record as a "W" grade.
February 28:
- Lundi Gras Student Holiday; NTCC campuses open
March 1:
- Mardi Gras Holiday; NTCC campuses closed
March 11:
- Last day to remove incomplete ("I") grades from prior semester
- Mid-semester grades due (3:00pm)
- Spring graduation application deadline
March 28 - April 1:
- Advising Week
April 1:
- Last day to withdraw from classes
April 15:
- Easter Holiday; NTCC campuses closed
April 18 - April 22:
- Spring Break Holiday; NTCC campuses open
May 6:
- Final day of instruction for courses with a final examination
May 9:
- Graduating students grade deadline
May 9 - 13:
- Final examination week
May 13:
- Final day of instruction for courses without a final examination
May 16:
- Final grades due (9:00am)
- Degree audit forms due (9:00am)
May 23:
- Commencement Ceremony - 6:00PM - University Center on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University
Technical Block Schedule
The Technical Block Schedule is provided for courses with varying course dates but are considered part of the Full Semester. Full Semester calendar dates apply to all Technical Block parts of terms and courses when alternate dates are not provided on specific calendars. Calendars for individual parts of term within the Technical Block Schedule are provided below.
January 19:

January 27:
- Last day to drop a course without a "W" grade.
January 28 - February 18:
- Withdrawal Period: Course drops during this period are considered a "withdrawal" and are documented on the student record as a "W" grade.
February 18:
- Last day to withdraw
March 11:
- Final day of instruction
March 14:
- First day of class
March 22:
- Last day to drop a course without a "W" grade.
March 23 - April 27:
- Withdrawal Period: Course drops during this period are considered a "withdrawal" and are documented on the student record as a "W" grade.
April 27:

May 13:
- Final day of instruction
