As the state’s premier ceremony honoring excellence in the nursing profession, the Nightingale Awards celebrate those who demonstrate unparalleled dedication to healthcare education, leadership, and clinical practice. The extensive presence of NTCC professionals and alumni across nearly a dozen categories highlights the college’s profound institutional footprint and its commitment to shaping compassionate, high-caliber healthcare providers for Louisiana.

Major Institutional Honors
Solidifying its reputation as both a premier educational body and an exceptional workplace, NTCC has secured two primary institutional nominations:
- Nursing School of the Year - Undergraduate
- Outstanding Employer or Facility of the Year- this marks NTCC’s third consecutive year being nominated for this award, having won the award in each of the past two years.

"This complete list of nominees represents the backbone of NTCC nursing. From our frontline instructors to our graduates making waves in their first years of practice, this recognition is exactly why NTCC continues to be a driving force in Louisiana healthcare."
The final winners will be announced at the gala ceremony on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM at L’Auberge Casino Hotel in Baton Rouge.
