Non-Credit Instructors Needed

Can I teach a course?

We are continuously seeking qualified individuals to teach our non-credit courses. Program areas include:

  • Career & technical education, personal enrichment, business, finance, general leisure, & more!

We are looking for day, evening, and weekend instructors. These are contract, paid-by-the-hour positions. We publish an on-line course catalog and schedule twice per year, while adding new programs to meet industry need upon request throughout the year. Course ideas and proposals are always welcomed.

Individuals interested in teaching for the Workforce Division of Northshore Technical Community College should be proficient in their subject areas. Individuals should have the ability to facilitate a classroom of as many as 30 students (at times more), as well as be able to provide individual instruction and attention.

As subject matter experts, we look to our instructors to provide information on any required resources (such as costs of supplies to students, books, training supplies/materials, and software/technology requirements, etc.) and communicate these with the Program Manager via a Program Data sheet provided (upon hire) by the Workforce Division.

Please submit resumes and cover letters to:
