Accessibility & Mental Health Services
The Office of Accessibility and Mental Health Services is committed to meeting students needs in a variety of ways:
- Accessibility: Accommodations and support for students with documented disabilities.
- Mental Health: Counseling sessions, support groups, and activities to support your mental health.
- We value your privacy and choice. If you have a mental health emergency, we want to honor your request and follow state law (LA Act 157, R.S. 17:3138.1 ). Please complete the Authorization to Release Information in the Event of a Mental Health Crisis document to identify who you want notified if you have a mental health crisis. You can choose how much or how little information we provide. It is a completely voluntary process.
- Gators 4 Recovery: Collegiate recovery program for students in recovery from substance use disorder or are sober curious.
Below are the steps to take to request accommodations:
- Make sure you know your LOLA log in. You will need it to log in to ConExEd.
- Scan or take a picture of your documentation and have it handy to upload. If you have already provided it to the Office of Accessibility and Mental Health Services, this is not necessary.
- Click on the link below and follow the prompts. Without uploading a document, it should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
