Welcome to the 2023 Northshore Technical Community College Convocation! Today we come together as a college family to honor years of service, celebrate faculty and staff achievement and prepare for the 2023-2024 academic year. As we come together to celebrate the beginning of a new academic year, I want to draw your attention to this year’s theme that resonates deeply with the journey we are about to embark upon: "Embracing Change."

Change is an inherent part of our lives, both individually and collectively. It is through change that we grow, learn, and evolve. It challenges us to step out of our comfort zones and embrace new possibilities. Change has the power to transform individuals, institutions, and entire communities.

Let us seize the opportunities it presents, learn from its challenges, and empower one another to embrace change with resilience and optimism. Together, we can shape a future that is brighter, more inclusive, and filled with boundless possibilities, right hear at NTCC!

I wish to thank our Convocation planning committee for putting together an exciting program and week of professional development, fellowship, and networking. We welcome our newest team members and value the many talents you will share with our students, faculty, and staff.
