As Classes Begin: Prepare for Success in Your First Semester

Regardless of what campus or program you choose, NTCC provides the resources you need to reach your academic and career goals. Review the list of recommendations below to get the most out of your student experience.

• Be aware of important dates on the Academic Calendar.
• Purchase textbooks and supplies through the Gator Bookstore.
• Become familiar with the Course Catalog and Student Handbook.
• Join a Student Organization.
• Set up your Northshore Student Email (GatorMail) regularly for important emails from instructors, financial aid, and other NTCC departments.
• After the 14th day, visit student services for a student ID card. Take advantage of student discounts at participating restaurants, movie theaters and more.
• Get familiar with the GATOR Library and plan to use it as a resource throughout the semester.
• Visit the Gator Online Store for all your Gator Gear.
