Nurse Aide Certification Testing

Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC) recognizes the need to facilitate certification testing for individuals who have completed approved Nurse Aide Training (NAT) programs or have followed other Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) approved alternate routes. This policy outlines NTCC's commitment to providing testing services for a diverse range of candidates, including NTCC students, third-party program completers, and individuals eligible for alternate routes as determined by Louisiana Department of Health (LDH).

Tentative Testing Dates:

Sullivan Campus (3rd Tuesday of the month)
Florida Parishes Campus (2nd Wednesday of the month)
Hammond Area Campus (1st and 4th Wednesday of the month)

On the day of your exam, you must present an original ID (not a photocopy or digital ID). ID must be valid (unexpired) and government issued. Student ID cards are not valid forms of identification for test takers.

Computer labs will be available to provide internet and computer access to applicants who do not have access to a computer or internet service at home

Pricing Information:

Written Exam: $40

Oral Exam: $40

Clinical Skills Exam: $60

Rescheduling Fee: $25
